The first grade of primary school is where the essential foundation is laid. Our curriculum plan is formulated according to the Ministry of Education’s teaching syllabus. Through systematic learning of Chinese Hanyu Pinyin, basic vocabulary, phrases, and sentence patterns, we will lay a good foundation for students' Chinese language and enable them to recognize the shape, pronunciation, and meaning of Chinese characters. In addition, oral communication, picture-based speaking and writing training will be the focus of teaching in the lower grades.

小学一年级是打基础的阶段，我们会跟着教育部的教学大纲来制定我们的课程计划。通过有系统地学习汉语拼音、华文基础词汇、短语、句式，打好学生的华文基础，使学生能辨识汉字的字形、字音、字义。此外，口语交流和看图说话写话训练也会是低年级的教学重点。
